Community

Putting the community in community bank.

Community is at the heart of everything we do. From youth programs to local festivals and charities, Farmers & Merchants Bank invests in the people and places that make our hometowns thrive.

At Farmers & Merchants Bank, community isn’t just part of our name, it’s at the heart of everything we do. For more than 100 years, we’ve been proud to stand beside our neighbors in Carroll and Baltimore Counties, supporting the people, places, and causes that make our hometowns thrive.

Each year, we invest in our community through sponsorships, donations, and volunteer hours with organizations, schools, teams, and nonprofits. From local festivals and fundraisers to youth programs and charitable causes, we’re committed to being present where it matters most.

Our team doesn’t just work here, they live here, too.

You’ll find us volunteering at fairs, coaching local teams, serving on committees, and lending a hand wherever it’s needed. Because when our community succeeds, we all succeed.

Supporting our community isn’t a program, it’s a promise. We’re proud to continue building stronger connections, uplifting local organizations, and helping create opportunities for generations to come
