Major Responsibilities:
The Bank Facilities Manager has a hands-on role responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving all physical bank facilities—owned and leased—across approximately ten locations. This position is ideal for someone with general contracting skills, light specialty trade experience, or a background in facilities maintenance who is comfortable doing the work themselves.
The Manager independently performs routine repairs, small renovation tasks, and preventative maintenance while also coordinating outside vendors when specialized work exceeds internal capabilities. The role ensures buildings remain safe, operational, attractive, and compliant with regulatory and safety standards.
- Perform hands‑on maintenance, repair, and small‑scale construction work at all bank locations.
- Manage day‑to‑day facility needs, including emergency repairs, seasonal upkeep, and special projects.
- Complete work orders efficiently and document outcomes.
- Coordinate external contractors when needed for specialized repairs or larger projects.
- Assist in planning and executing capital improvements, renovations, or branch refreshes.
- Maintain tools, supplies, and materials inventory.
- Ensure all facility work complies with local code requirements and bank safety standards.
Essential Functions
- Hands‑On Maintenance and Repair

- Paint interior and exterior surfaces, patch and repair drywall, install trim or molding.
- Perform basic plumbing repairs: toilets, faucets, leaks, supply lines, drains.
- Install or repair flooring (LVT, carpet tiles, laminate), baseboards, and transitions.
- Assemble or repair office furniture, signage, shelving, or fixtures.
- Troubleshoot minor electrical issues (switches, outlets) within allowable scope.
- Install or repair door hardware, locks, hinges, weather stripping.
- Facility Operations

- Conduct regular inspections of all branches to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
- Respond quickly to urgent repair requests (leaks, outages, security issues).
- Support safety and security systems including alarm panels, fire extinguishers, and access control hardware (non-certified tasks).
- Vendor Coordination

- Engage licensed electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and contractors as needed.
- Review vendor work to ensure compliance, insurance coverage, and quality.
- Maintain relationships with landlord contacts for leased locations.
- Project Support

- Assist with minor remodels, furniture moves, and installation of new fixtures or equipment.
- Provide labor/support for branch refreshes, relocations, and special facility projects.
Knowledge & Skills
- Working knowledge of building systems: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general construction.
- Ability to read simple blueprints, work orders, and technical instructions.
- Basic understanding of local building codes and safety practices.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools, ladders, and basic maintenance equipment.
- Ability to evaluate what work can be done internally versus what requires a licensed professional.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks across multiple locations.

Other Skills & Attributes
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between bank locations.
- Comfortable working on ladders, lifting up to 50 lbs, and performing physically active tasks.
- Ability to work independently without daily supervision.
- Basic computer skills for logging work orders, email communication, and documentation.
- Preferred: Experience as a general contractor, maintenance technician, or tradesperson.
- Preferred: Specialty trade license (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or similar) but not required.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3+ years of hands-on building maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, or general contracting experience.
- Prior multi-site facilities experience preferred.
- Certifications (optional but beneficial):
- General contractor’s license
- HVAC Type I certifications
- OSHA training
- Trade certifications (plumbing/electrical as allowed by state)
